Where to host a birthday party?
Mandurah & Surrounds
Planning a party but your home feels a little too small (or a little too chaotic!) to host? I've put together this guide to some of my favorite local parks and venues around Mandurah that I've personally worked at over the years.
As a face painter who attends countless children's parties, I have seen firsthand which spaces work beautifully, which have great shade, cool playgrounds or facilities.

Below you'll find my honest ratings, practical tips, and helpful notes to make choosing the perfect party location simple and stress-free.

Things to Keep in Mind
Park Parties
Perfect in summer during the cooler parts of the day. Aim for 9am-12pm to avoid peak heat and harsh UV exposure.
Winter or Rainy Months
If you're planning during cooler unpredictable weather, hiring a venue is the safer option. It removes the stress of watching the forecast and gives you peace of mind.
Wind & Weather
Bye bye giant foil balloon flying away in the wind. Save those birthday tears and check the weather forecast.
Wind can quickly undo all your hard work, decorations blown away, tablecloths, food and good luck trying to light the birthday candles.
It also makes face painting harder, with glitter going everywhere and slowing me down.
Bring strong tape and proper table weights, secure anything lightweight. A little preparation makes all the difference.
