At Kiverse Face Painting, care, transparency and respect are important to us. 

Below you'll find our terms and conditions, policies, photography, refunds and shipping.

Terms

Terms & Conditions

 

Bookings & Cancellations

  • A deposit is required within 24 hours of accepting a booking to secure your date and time.

  • If the deposit is not received within this timeframe, the booking may be released.

  • Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations due to change of mind.

  • For outdoor events, clients are responsible for having a backup plan in case of weather. No refunds are provided due to weather conditions.

  • If Kiverse Face Painting is unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances, the deposit will be refunded in full.

Payment

  • Full payment is due on the day of the event, unless otherwise stated on your invoice.

  • Late payments may incur an additional fee.

Site Requirements & Setup

  • Adequate shade is required for all bookings. Face painting will not be performed in direct sunlight (well-shaded trees are acceptable).

  • A parking space must be available. Any parking fees will be charged to the client.

  • The setup area must be flat and stable, free from loose materials such as sand or rocks.

  • In extreme wind, face painting may be limited and glitter will not be used.

  • A marquee can be provided at an additional cost if required.

Health, Safety & Hygiene

  • All brushes and equipment are sanitised between clients.

  • Face painting is not recommended for children under 3 years, though participation is at the parent or guardian’s discretion.

  • Children must have a clean face before being painted.

  • Face painting will not be provided to anyone who appears unwell or has visible skin irritations or contagious conditions.

  • Kiverse Face Painting follows WA Health & Safety guidelines for face and body painting.

What We Provide

  • Clients are only required to provide a shaded, weather-protected area.

  • All professional face painting equipment is supplied, including table and chairs.

Our Approach

At Kiverse Face Painting, children’s safety, privacy, and comfort always come first.

 

We love capturing the joy of our face painting artwork, but only when parents and children feel completely comfortable. This policy explains how we respectfully collect consent and how images may be used.

Consent

  • Photos or videos are only taken with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

  • Consent may be given in writing or verbally at the time of the booking or event.

  • Children are always asked for their comfort and will never be photographed if they appear uncomfortable or unwilling.

  • Consent can be withdrawn at any time by contacting us.

How Images May Be Used

  • Images may be used for Kiverse Face Painting marketing, including social media, our website, or printed materials.

  • No names, ages, or personal details are ever shared.

  • Where possible, images are selected to protect privacy (such as partial angles or closed eyes).

  • Images are never used in inappropriate or sensitive situations.

Storage & Security

  • Consent records are stored securely.

  • Photos are kept private and used only for Kiverse Face Painting purposes.

  • Images are never sold, licensed, or shared with third parties for their own use.

  • Photos are removed once no longer required for promotional purposes.

Withdrawing Consent

  • If consent is withdrawn, images will be removed from our website and social media as soon as possible.

  • Printed materials already distributed cannot be recalled, but images will not be reused.

Refunds & Returns

We take care to provide quality services, workshops and products. The following outlines our approach to refunds and returns.

Face Painting Services

  • Once a face painting service has been provided, refunds are not available.

  • If you have concerns about your experience, please contact us as soon as possible so we can discuss the matter.

Workshops & Classes

  • Refunds are not available once a workshop or class has been attended.

  • If a workshop is cancelled by Kiverse Face Painting, participants will be offered a full refund or transfer to a future date.

Products (Online Store)

This applies to all physical products, including face paints, brushes, gems and accessories.

 

  • Change-of-mind refunds are not offered on opened or used products.

  • Unopened and unused items may be returned within 7 days of delivery, provided they are in original condition and packaging.

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

  • If an item arrives faulty or damaged, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order, including photos, so we can arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.

General Information

  • Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method where possible.

  • Please allow reasonable processing time for refunds to be completed.

  • If you’re unsure whether a refund applies, we encourage you to get in touch — we’re always happy to help.

Shipping

Shipping Policy

Shipping Method

All orders are shipped from Mandurah, Western Australia via Australia Post Air Mail.

 

  • Domestic (Australia): Standard parcel post

  • International: Air Mail (standard international service)

Tracking details are included with all orders where available.

Processing Time

Orders are generally processed and shipped within 1–3 business days of purchase, unless otherwise noted at checkout or due to product customisation.

 

Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.

 

Estimated Delivery Times

🇦🇺 Domestic (within Australia)

 

From Perth / Mandurah via Australia Post Air Mail:

 

  • WA regional & metro: 2–7 business days

  • Other states (NSW, VIC, QLD, SA, TAS): 5–12 business days

  • Remote or rural areas: 7–14+ business days

 

Please note: These are estimates only based on standard Air Mail services. Delivery times can vary due to postal network conditions, peak periods, and remote locations.

 

🌍 International

 

Shipping times from Australia Post Air Mail vary by destination country:

 

  • New Zealand: ~7–14 business days

  • Asia: ~10–20 business days

  • North America / Europe: ~12–25 business days

  • Other international regions: ~15–30+ business days

International deliveries can be impacted by customs procedures, local postal services, and seasonal delays.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on:

 

  • Destination (domestic or international)

  • Parcel weight and size

  • Australia Post rates

Tracking Information

Where available, tracking details will be emailed to you once your order is dispatched.

If no tracking is available for your destination, please allow the estimated delivery timeframe before contacting us.

Lost or Delayed Parcels

  • We are happy to assist with tracking or Australia Post inquiries if a parcel is lost or significantly delayed.

  • Please allow the full estimated delivery timeframe before opening a lost parcel inquiry, especially for international shipments.

  • Kiverse Face Painting is not responsible for delays caused by Australia Post, customs clearance, or destination postal services.

Returns Related to Shipping

Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the item arrived damaged or faulty. See our Refunds & Returns policy for details.
