Photography & Privacy Consent
📸 Photography & Privacy Policy - Kiverse Face Painting Why We Have This Policy At Kiverse Face Painting, children’s safety, privacy, and dignity always come first. We love capturing the joy of our face painting creations — but only when parents and children feel completely comfortable. With Australian child-safety and privacy laws becoming stricter, we are required to gain clear permission from a parent or legal guardian before taking or sharing any photos of children. This policy explains how we collect that consent and how we use images safely, respectfully, and in full compliance with the law. Giving Consent We only take photos of children if both the parent or guardian and the child themselves give permission. Consent may be given in writing (through a form or message) or verbally when we’re at an event or booking. When verbal permission is given, it’s always obtained directly from the parent or guardian present, in a clear and respectful way. Parents or guardians can change their mind at any time — simply let us know, and we’ll remove or stop using any photos right away. How We Use Photos Photos and short videos may be used to promote Kiverse Face Painting on social media, our website gallery, or printed materials. We never share names, ages, or any personal details alongside photos. To help protect children’s privacy, we usually share photos where children’s eyes are closed or faces are shown only partially. Photos are never taken or shared if a child appears uncomfortable, upset, or in any inappropriate situation. Storage & Security Written consent forms are stored securely, and verbal consents are noted for our records where possible. All photos and consent records are kept safe and only used for Kiverse Face Painting purposes. Sometimes we use trusted third-party services (such as professional printers or social media platforms) to display our work, but your child’s image will never be sold, licensed, or shared for anyone else’s use. Photos are deleted once no longer needed for promotional purposes. Changing Your Mind If you withdraw consent, we will remove your child’s photo from our website and social media as soon as possible. Printed materials already distributed cannot be recalled, but we’ll make sure your child’s image is never reused in future prints. Contact Us If you’d like to update or withdraw your consent — or if you have any questions — please contact Kiverse Face Painting anytime via www.kiverse.com.au. We will always respect your wishes and act promptly to protect your child’s privacy.
